The website https://connect4.be/ (hereinafter, the “Website”) is offered by Connect4 BV, Bossepleinstraat 113, 3130 Begijnendijk, with company number 0759 376 079, hereinafter Connect4.
Connect4 respects the privacy of its customers, prospects and website users (hereinafter “you” and “your”). Connect4 processes personal data transmitted in accordance with applicable legislation, and in particular Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, applicable from May 25, 2018 (hereinafter the “GDPR”).
Personal data is any data that can be traced to an individual, called a data subject. A data subject can be a prospect, customer, website visitor, business partner, a supplier or any other person whose personal data is processed.
Accessing the website and/or using certain services offered by Connect4, such as requesting a price quote, contacting you for information or scheduling purposes, telecommunication incident support, subscribing to the electronic newsletter (hereinafter “Services”) implies your acceptance of this privacy policy (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”) and the cookie policy (hereinafter the “Cookie Policy”). You allow Connect4, in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy, to process your personal data that Connect4 receives from you through the website, through social media, during contact moments or otherwise in the context of the Services offered by Connect4. In principle, Connect4 obtains your personal data directly from you. However, if you choose to register through a social media account (e.g. Facebook), this data will be collected through your social media profile. In that case, Connect4 recommends that you consult the privacy policy of your social media service provider to find out what data is processed by them when you use the social media registration feature.
The Privacy Policy applies to all pages hosted on the website and all company pages managed by Connect4 on social networks. The website may contain links to other third-party websites. Although Connect4 tries to provide links only to websites that share its high standards of data protection, Connect4 is not responsible for the content and data protection policies of these websites. Connect4 is a controller and determines what personal data are collected, as well as the purposes and means of processing these personal data.
You are not required to disclose your personal data, but please note that certain Services may not be provided and/or certain functionalities on the Website may not be available if you do not provide your personal data or refuse the use of certain cookies.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED, AND ITS PURPOSES
Processing of personal data of website users
What personal data? When you visit the website, via desktop, tablet or mobile, the servers consulted and, among other things, by means of cookies, pixel tags or similar technology, non-directly identifying information is processed, collected and recorded, such as, for example:

– The type of domain you connect to the Internet with.

Processing personal data of (potential) customers and business partners for the purpose of providing Services
What personal data? When you use a Connect4 service, or request information about it via the contact form, or by email, telephone or similar communication technologies, or when you are a business partner of Connect4, Connect4 may collect and process the following personal data about you:
-Contact information (such as first and last name, gender, position, company address, domicile, email address, phone number (landline and/or mobile).
-Payment information (bank account number, IBAN and BIC /SWIFT, credit card number, expiration date).
-Invoice information, including company number.
-Communication content between you and Connect4.
-Additional information necessary to identify you and/or to provide the Services.
For what purposes. Connect4 processes these personal data for the following purposes:
-Management of your account for the purpose of using the Services (via the website, if applicable) such as communication with you, handling questions, requests and complaints, booking appointments, preparing a quote, customer administration, order management, deliveries, invoicing, verification of “company” status, credit check, after-sales service, support, with the legal basis being the performance of a contract requested by you (if customer), or the legitimate interests of Connect4 to handle your requests (if not a customer).
-The establishment and execution of the contractual relationship with you (if customer) with the legal basis being the performance of a contract requested by you and a legal obligation incumbent on Connect4 (mainly tax and accounting obligations).
How long. Connect4 retains your personal data, given the purposes pursued:
-If you are a customer or business partner: 10 years after the internal conclusion of the relationship.
-If you are a potential customer and ask for information: 36 months after the last contact.
Processing of personal data of website visitors who register to receive newsletters, of (potential) customers and business partners to send information and updates about Connect4 and its services
What personal data? When you are a customer, partner, prospect or website visitor of Connect4, Connect4 may collect and process the following contact data: first and last name, position, company address or domicile, email address, phone number, date of birth, opt-in/opt-out for marketing and other material, opening or not opening mailing and/or clicking through links in the mailing.
For what purposes. Connect4 processes these personal data for the following purposes:
-For the purpose of providing newsletters, special events and updates regarding its Services, as well as any other news about it, and to invite you to its events, with the legal basis of your express, prior consent (if not a customer or partner) or the legitimate interests of Connect4 to pursue its customer and partner relationship (if a customer or partner).
-Sending (online and offline) direct marketing, actions and promotions, birthday card, with the legal basis your explicit, prior consent (if not a client or partner), or Connect4’s legitimate interests to promote its Services and maintain the existing relationship (if client or partner).
How long. Connect4 retains your personal data, given the purposes pursued, until such time as you inform Connect4 that you no longer wish to receive such information, updates or invitations or withdraw your consent.
Processing customer personal data to obtain customer feedback and for promotional purposes
What Personal Data. Connect4 collects customer feedback, including information you share about your experience with Connect4 and its Services. This information includes, in addition to your name, first name, address, phone number and email, your comments and suggestions, testimonials, quotes, photos and other feedback.
For what purposes. Connect4 processes these personal data for the following purposes:
-To improve its Services, with the legal basis being Connect4’s legitimate interests to optimize its Services.
-Promoting its business, with reference to the client’s name and testimonials (for example, on the website or in leaflets), with the explicit consent of the client as the legal basis.
How long. Connect4 retains your personal data, given the purposes pursued, for 10 years after the internal conclusion of the relationship or, if earlier, until such time as you inform Connect4 that you no longer wish Connect4 to refer to your name and/or testimonials.
Processing personal data from suppliers
What personal data. When you are a supplier to Connect4, Connect4 may collect and process the following personal data about you:
-Contact information (such as first and last name, company address, email address, phone number).
-Payment information (bank account number, IBAN and BIC /SWIFT, credit card number, expiration date).
-Invoice information, including company number.
-Communication content between you and Connect4.
-Additional information necessary to identify you and/or required in connection with purchases of products or services.
For what purposes? Connect4 processes these personal data for the following purpose: Managing your account for the purpose of purchasing products or services in the context of providing Services such as supplier administration, invoicing, verification of the status of “company”, checking creditworthiness, with the legal basis the legitimate interests of Connect4 to select and pay the supplier.
How long? Connect4 keeps your personal data, given the purpose pursued, 10 years after the last billing.
In addition to the aforementioned personal data, Connect4 may have additional personal data, to the extent communicated by you.
THE MANNER IN WHICH PERSONAL DATA ARE OBTAINED

NOTICE TO PROCESSORS
It may provide the data you provide to Connect4 to external service providers as necessary to carry out the purposes described above.
For example, Connect4 uses third-party service providers that process your data for system and online purposes, including :
Storing and processing data in the cloud (through a cloud service provider).
Providing website functionality (including through web developer, CMS system and plug-ins).
Providing internet environment (including web hosting, e-mail hosting).
Providing IT infrastructure (including servers).
Providing data analysis, monitoring, statistics (including Google Analytics).
Providing communication through distribution of newsletters, messaging services (including Mailpoet).
Providing security of systems and services.
Providing platforms for marketing.
When providing their services, processors shall act in accordance with Connect4’s instructions. The processors are obliged to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.
COMMUNICATION TO THIRD PARTIES
Connect4 treats personal data as confidential information. Connect4 may provide your personal data to the following categories of third parties to the extent such information is necessary for the purposes listed above:
Connect4’s employees, associates, agents and representatives for the purpose of providing the Services.
Government agencies and authorities in connection with legal obligations.
Consultants, financial, legal and tax advisors, accountants.
Insurers, suppliers, service providers, partners and experts to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract in individual cases or for the fulfillment of specific assignments.
Service providers responsible for payment processing (such as payment providers, among others).
Communication of this information to the aforementioned persons is limited in all circumstances to what is strictly necessary, or required by applicable law.
Your data may be provided to competent authorities (Police and Justice) in case of serious violations of law. In exceptional cases, Connect4 may have to disclose your personal data pursuant to a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations, of which Connect4 assumes that the disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, or to comply with a judicial proceeding, an injunction, a request from a regulator or any other legal proceeding in which Connect4 is involved. Connect4 will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance in this regard, unless legal restrictions do not allow it.
If Connect4 should be involved in an acquisition or sale of assets, or in a full or partial reorganization or cessation of its operations, your personal data may be transferred. Connect4 will make reasonable efforts to notify you before your personal data is transferred, and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. However, you acknowledge that this may not be technically or commercially feasible in all circumstances.
YOUR RIGHTS
Connect4 does not subject you to automated decisions.
You have the following rights under the GDPR:
Right to information about the purposes of processing and the identity of the controller (see paragraph 1).
Right of access: you can always have access to the personal data Connect4 processes about you, or check whether it is included in the database.
Right to correct: Connect4 will take all reasonable measures to keep your data up to date; if data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request Connect4 to correct it.
Right to object: you can object at any time to the processing of your data for serious and legitimate reasons.
Right to erasure: you may request for the erasure of your personal data at any time, with the exception of those that Connect4 is legally obliged to keep.
Right to restriction of processing: you may also request restriction of processing among other things if you have exercised objection to the processing, if you dispute the accuracy of the data or if the processing of personal data is unlawful.
Right of free data transfer: you have the right to receive your personal data processed by Connect4 in structured, common and machine-readable form and/or to transfer it to other controllers.
Right to withdraw consent: to the extent that the processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.
You may exercise your rights by sending a written request, accompanied by a copy of your identity card or passport, to the controller by e-mail: info@connect4.be or by using the contact section on the website. Connect4 will take the necessary steps to process any request within the shortest possible time and, in any case, within one month of receiving the request. If necessary, this period may be extended by two months given the complexity and number of requests.
In the context of direct marketing, this means that you may unsubscribe from the newsletter and other commercial communications at any time, free of charge and without justification. Should you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your personal data, you may also bring an action for damages before the Belgian civil courts.
SECURITY
Connect4 has taken security measures adapted at technical and organizational level, in order to avoid as much as possible the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or notification by mistake to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorized processing of these data.
Connect4 takes all reasonable measures to ensure the confidentiality of personal data communicated by you. However, you acknowledge that the transmission of personal data through the Website, or more generally through the Internet, is never without risk. To the extent possible under applicable law, you agree that Connect4 cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage that you would suffer as a result of any unlawful or erroneous use of your personal data by third parties who would not have the authorization to do so.
TRANSFER TO A COUNTRY OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
For the purposes set out above, Connect4 may share your personal data with third parties based in a non-EEA country. In that case, Connect4 will only transfer such data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and within the permitted limits, for example, by ensuring that the transfer takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or by providing appropriate safeguards through standard data protection clauses (so-called Model Contractual Clauses) as established by the European Commission.

UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Connect4 may amend and modify this Privacy Policy, by providing this information to you via the website, email or any other means, in particular to comply with any new applicable legislation and/or regulations (such as the GDPR), the recommendations of the Data Protection Authority, the guidelines and recommendations of the European Data Protection Authority and the decisions of the courts in this field.
It is recommended that you consult the Privacy Policy on a regular basis by reference to the date of last modification as shown at the bottom of this document. If you do not agree with a change to the Privacy Policy, please stop using the website immediately, and ask the data controller to delete your personal data as described above.
VALIDITY OF CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES
If Connect4 would not invoke any of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, it does not mean that Connect4 has waived its rights, which it has under this Privacy Policy.
The invalidity, nullity or unenforceability of all or part of any of the preceding or following provisions shall not invalidate the entire Privacy Policy. The provision that is invalid, void or unenforceable in whole or in part shall be deemed unwritten. Connect4 will replace such provision with another that, to the extent possible, achieves the same purpose.
APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURT
The validity, interpretation and/or implementation of the Privacy Policy are subject to Belgian law. In case of a dispute regarding the validity, interpretation or implementation of the Privacy Policy, the courts and tribunals of the judicial district of Leuven shall have jurisdiction. Before taking any step toward judicial resolution of a dispute, you agree that both parties will attempt to resolve it by mutual agreement, and where appropriate, through mediation.
